RSVP & Attendance
Q. When should I RSVP by?
A. Please RSVP by August 8. We need a final head count to plan everything smoothly!
Q. Can I bring a plus one?
A. All our guests are individually invited and named on the invitation. Given the limited number of seats, no plus ones are given. If you're unsure, feel free to reach out. When RSVP-ing, please submit an entry for each guest.
Q. Can I bring my kids?
A: We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration with the exception of immediate family.
Q. What should I wear?
A:
For the gentlemen: Black tuxedo with a white evening shirt, bow tie, and black dress shoes. If you're not into black, midnight blue tuxedos are also welcome as a formal alternative. For those traveling from afar, if tuxedo is not feasible, a well-tailored black suit (with bow tie) is acceptable.
For the ladies: A long formal dress (ankle-length or longer) with dress shoes. Formal jumpsuits, or two-piece sets are also welcome. Coloured dresses are encouraged.
Travel & Accommodation
Q. Is there a hotel room block?
A: A select number of rooms have been reserved at the Four Seasons for the night of 4th October at a specially negotiated rate of £360 (VAT included). For those wishing to stay more than one night, extended bookings at the same rate are possible, subject to availability. To secure a room, kindly reach out to Nancy or Gavin directly. Please note, space is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional accommodation options are available nearby, e.g., CitizenM, DoubleTree, Tower Suites by Blue Orchid, and Novotel, and can be booked independently.
Q. What airport do you recommend flying into?
A: For guests flying in internationally, Heathrow Airport is the most convenient for reaching London Tower Bridge with faster and more direct transport options (~50-70 mins by train or taxi). Gatwick Airport is also a good option, with trains to London Bridge Station nearby, though the journey may take a bit longer (~60-80 mins).
Venue & Schedule
Q. What time should I arrive?
A. Please arrive between 1:30pm - 1:55pm to ensure you’re seated before the ceremony begins at 2pm.
Q. What time will the festivities end?
A. Celebration will formally conclude ~10pm with an optional afterparty on-site to follow.
Q. Is there parking at the venue?
A. Yes, valet parking is available on-site at £70 per 24-hour period.
Q. Is transportation provided?
A: No, but ubers and black cabs are aplenty in London! Please note, traditional black cabs tend to run at a higher rate than ubers. Other rideshare apps available include Gett, ViaVan, and Bolt to name a few.
Food & Drinks
Q. What is a "Wedding Breakfast"?
A. Wedding breakfast is a traditional British phase which refers to the main meal served after the wedding ceremony. It's called a "breakfast" because it's the first meal the couple shares as a married pair - not because of the time of day or the menu.
Q. I have a dietary restriction. Can I be accommodated?
A. Absolutely — just let us know when you RSVP and we’ll make sure you’re taken care of.
Gifts
Q. Are you registered somewhere?
A. Your presence is the best gift, but if you'd like to give a gift, please head to the registry page.
Q. Can I give a cash gift or contribute to a honeymoon fund?
A. Yes, and thank you! You’ll find those details on the registry page as well.
Photos & Social Media
Q. Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
A. We’re having an unplugged ceremony — please keep phones away and be present with us. Snap away afterward!
Q. Can I post on social media?
A. Yes! (as long as they don't include the little ones). Please tag us in the photos, so we can see them after the wedding!
